In the first half of 2025, Vietnam recorded strong and broad-based economic growth. GDP rose 7.52%, the highest first-half growth since 2011. Import–export turnover increased 16% year-on-year, reaching USD 432.03 billion, while FDI surged 32.6% to USD 21.52 billion. Retail sales and consumer revenue grew 9.3%, reflecting solid domestic demand. Inflation remained well controlled, with CPI up 3.27%, and international tourist arrivals increased 20.7%, totaling 10.7 million visitors. These positive indicators support Vietnam’s 8% growth target for 2025, driven by stable policies, infrastructure investment, and digital transformation.

Grade A apartment supply is tightening, accounting for only 3% of total units in H1 2025. Despite limited availability, primary prices remain on a strong upward trend, achieving a 13% CAGR, supported by consistent demand and long-term market fundamentals.

Remittances and wealth growth are key drivers of luxury apartment demand in Ho Chi Minh City. Vietnam ranks among the world’s top remittance-receiving countries, with USD 190 billion recorded from 1993–2022, and around 25% flowing into real estate, with HCMC leading nationwide. At the same time, Vietnam has one of the fastest-growing affluent classes globally, doubling its number of millionaires from 9,800 in 2013 to over 19,000 in 2023, and projected to reach more than 43,000 by 2034, strongly supporting long-term demand for high-end residential properties.
